| wow, i haven't wrote anything for a long time. well, to update you (sorta), i am currently working (or actually training in the process). it's a good company, with all the little perks, and of course, very close to where i live. there's like 50+ people now in this program but i'm not really sure if i'm actually ready for this job or not. will they keep all of us since the client is a big well known company? this job entails more of a customer service type of role. a lot of people are in the same boat as me, questioning themselves whether they're ready to do this kind of job or not. it's been only like 3 weeks into the training. it's a good thing that this job is a temp to perm position so i can see whether i can fit in this company or not after the initial 3 month probation period. so, for now, we'll have to wait and see...

| sorry that i haven't been here in a while. sept is a crazy month thus far. i went to the east coast trip w/ my friend. it was fun, tiring, at times boring, and breathtaking. in those 13 days we visited washington dc, baltimore, philly, and finally new york city. each city is unique and has something to remember. not going into details too much but this trip was an eye opener of what it is like living outside of sf. overall, it was a good experience and hopefully i could have a chance to relive it again.
on another note, my buddy got married this past weekend. i had a blast. this is probably the first of many weddings to come. but yeah, i will remember this the most because not only i know them well over the last several years but out of all the couples, they're the most generous and caring ppl i've met. i got to know them extremely well after college because we tend to hang out at their place instead of going out to clubs, bars, desserts, etc. (just to save money). when the groom announced that i was selected to be the groomsman, i felt honored that i was one of his closest friend that he got to know over the past several years. everything went according to plan (except for the slight rain) and i was glad that i was part of their joyous celebration.
all of the pictures of the wedding as well as the trip is posted on my facebook page as i tend to keep the good ones there. so hopefully, there's a next time. smell ya later!

| i accepted this temp job for stanford hospital a couple weeks ago. at that time, it was a sure thing to apply. i knew the pay sucks and it's pretty far, but i was hoping i could gain some experience from doing desktop support. little did i know, it wasn't the case. day 1 of job, we sorta did like a one hour training, took blood test, and got our badges. that was cool. then we didn't hear about what days we will be working, which sucks. everyday, schedule keeps changing left and right. 2nd time i went was a friday. It was a really simple task, a task anyone can do. all we had to do is to write down the computer name and number, and locate it on the cad drawing of the building. piece of cake!! then today, we basically walked around one part of the floor and just check to see if anyone else has a problem with their computer. and this happened for 8 hours. no computers, no place to hide yourself, nothing. it was a total waste of time and i was dying to go home. can u believe it? eight hours of total boredom. this is 10x worse than my old job (at least i had a computer to play with). i'm ready to quit. i say forget the experience. it's not a job that i will want to remember. i'm hoping there are other jobs out there that's better than this. i'm hoping and praying for the right one!!!

| applied to edd today for unemployment. i dunno what to expect. it feels like i'm back to where i started when i graduated from college back in '04...you know, right out of college, no experience, no nothing, and expect employers to give you like lots of moola. well...here today, is like day one after i graduated. now what? the only good part is that i have some money (hopefully from edd) and some experience going to interviews and stuff.
this time, instead of working for a mortgage company, i decided to go back to the computer field or any non-morgage related company. but who knows.....only god has a plan for me. i'll put my trust in him for my career. hope all is the best for me! in the mean time, i'm gonna be a bum and do nothing. until then, adios.

what a coincidence....yeah..now prepared to go to the edd and file for unemployment. time for a new chapter in my life and i'm glad that this little adventure came to an end.
